Hi, I’m Rachael Wade

I am a mental health professional dedicated to helping families and individuals move through the complexities of life's stressors and clinical diagnoses. By integrating evidence-based interventions with a foundation of deep patience and grace, I aim to cultivate a trusting, collaborative partnership. Our work together draws from a thoughtful blend of clinical modalities, contemporary research, personal experience, and the shared wisdom of our community. I remain constantly inspired by the natural resilience and insight found within every person and family, and I strive to keep our time together centered on that profound internal wisdom.

My Approach to Therapy

A favorite quote of mine reads "Life is beautiful and life is hard." Truly, moving through the unpredictable nature of our various life chapters is a challenge even on the best of days. When we add the heavy burdens of trauma, difficult circumstances, or a biological predisposition to anxiety or mood challenges, the experience can quickly become quite overwhelming. Through my practice I have found that therapy can offer a collaborative relationship to help reinforce our value, purpose, and meaning in life and allow us the opportunity to work through acute areas of challenge to reduce suffering and build resiliency in the face of hardship. I hope to create an honest and gentle space to do this work with folks. I believe in creating rhythms and structure to our session time that allows for the recognition of what is going on both with our thoughts as well as our bodies and their states of alertness and stress.
