Teen-Talk & Creative Expressions Group

Teen-Talk & Creative Expressions Group

Teen-Talk & Creative Expressions

This teen group is made to be safe space for teens to connect and support one another. Weekly group will begin with a teen talk to share on topics such as healthy boundaries, self-love, self-care and advocacy, healthy coping skills and dealing with relationship challenges. The second half of group, we explore creative expressions and somatic skill-building to cope and work through the anxieties of teen life. All activities will be guided by trauma-informed/trauma-sensitive practices. We explore creative expressions and somatic healing through yoga, dance, song-writing/singing, arts and crafts.

Teen-Talk is an excellent support group for any teen coping with anxiety, self-esteem, or relationship challenges such as having a parent struggling with addiction  and/or affected by mental health. This group is open to any teen who is interested in healing and growing from anything – we are all recovering from something after all! The teen years are very influential for early-intervention and preventing patterns from continuing into adult-hood…evidence shows teens especially benefit from support in a group setting!

New fall times to be announced!
