I’m thrilled that you have stopped by to check out my page and learn a little more about me. I hope that I can become a part of your journey toward flourishing and growing your mental health and wellness.

I am a licensed clinical social worker who focuses on identifying and capitalizing on your existing inner strengths, using them to help formulate a personalized plan for wellness that is designed specially for you. I am a firm believer that you are the ultimate expert in your life. I’m here to help you help yourself, sharpening the tools that will help you overcome some of the current stressors that you are facing. I have done extensive research in the field of self-care and I tailor all of my services to be centered around helping you find ways to care for your whole self. I am seasoned in providing counseling services to teens and adults living with anxiety, depression, and other general life concerns.

I have been practicing mental health for over 10 years. I also have experience providing conflict management and mediation services that have helped my clients find resolution in difficult interpersonal relationships. I am here to help empower you to foster health and wellness in your all areas of your life.

Biography

Amanda received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She attended graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington participating in a dual degree program receiving her Masters in Social Work and a Masters in Arts in Conflict Management and Resolution. Amanda is also a licensed school social worker and has provided services in elementary, middle, high school, alternative school, and day treatment settings. Amanda has provided both outpatient therapy and intensive in home services. She loves supporting her community (and practicing self-care) by actively volunteering with many music and arts programs for kids and teens.
