Hi! I’m Kat.

“I see your fear, and it’s big. I also see your courage, and it’s bigger. We can do hard things.”
–Glennon Doyle

It is my honor to walk beside you and tackle the hard things that you may be struggling with while providing a safe space to do so. Together we will explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors you may be experiencing, and gain a deeper understanding of how those elements interact to shape sense of self, make choices, and determine how you engage with the world. I believe that developing such insight can help with healing from past hurts, becoming un-stuck, and moving toward meaningful change. I am passionate about being a listening ear, a cheerleader, and a sounding board to those seeking support for a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief/loss, life transitions, and recovery from past traumas.

In therapy sessions, I pair humor, warmth, and down to earth energy with multiple trauma-informed therapeutic approaches. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, and when possible, Animal Assisted Therapy. Additionally, I am trained and certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I utilize different treatment modalities depending upon your unique self and current needs. Through a collaborative approach, I strive to be an authentic guide as you process life experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and identify your many strengths during your journey towards healing and self-discovery.
