Megan Kovach Therapist
I’m Megan.

I am excited that you’ve stopped by my page to learn more about me and how I can help you or your child enhance and flourish your mental health and wellness. Together, we will identify needs and establish goals.

In therapy sessions, I adopt a person-centered approach where I spend time learning more about you, and the roots developed by your experiences, relationships, and environment, that make you who you are. I also incorporate a narrative approach to identify and embrace the story you have developed and encompasses your life. For children, I also integrate art and play therapy techniques for a sensorimotor and creative method. Each of these approaches allow you or your child to move forward in a journey towards self-discovery and healing.

I specialize in providing therapy in areas of trauma, traumatic grief, anxiety, and depression for children, adolescents and their families using evidenced-based approaches. I believe individuals of all ages have the resilience and capability of moving forward past difficult life experiences. I believe you and your child already have the strengths to overcome your struggles. My goal is for you to move through the therapy process in a safe space and without judgement.

I want to acknowledge that it takes courage, bravery, and vulnerability to take the first step toward overcoming your challenges. I am honored to support you or your child through this journey to healing and empowerment!

I hope to see you soon!
