Hi, I’m Rachel Easton, LCSW.
I’m a therapist who helps children, teens and families navigate life stressors in an engaging and creative way! I believe everyone has a unique set of strengthens that can be identified and utilized throughout therapy to help work towards client goals. No matter the goals, I will be there to provide support throughout and make the process both enlightening and fun for everyone!
Are you feeling stuck or unsure of how to manage your child’s big feelings or behaviors? You’re not alone! Starting therapy can be an intimidating and even awkward process especially for children and teens who can be hesitant to open up to someone new. It takes time to build a trusting relationship with a therapist which is why it can be helpful to incorporate an engaging hands-on approach to allow kiddos to feel more comfortable throughout this process of change and growth.
Not only is it important to get both family and children involved in the therapeutic process, I think it is equally as important to provide children and teens with their own safe space to express themselves. My goal as a therapist is to provide a comfortable and non-judgmental environment that allows children, teens as well as families to feel comfortable expressing their perspectives, values and ideas.
When I’m not spending time with my loved ones, you’ll find me trying out new restaurants in the area. I love all types of food and never turn down dessert. I adore all kinds of animals and enjoy spending time outdoors with my two hyper dogs. I also enjoy going to the beach, listening to live music and traveling to new places.
I became a therapist because I don’t want others to feel they have to tackle life's challenges alone. I want to provide individuals with the opportunity and space to voice their thoughts and feelings free of judgement.
