Hi, I’m Amanda!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps adolescents and adults with navigating life stressors and adjustments and managing anxiety. I enjoy walking through life with others, helping them grow in their authentic self and potential.
Dealing with anxiety and life stressors, especially at times of adjustment and change, can be difficult. Fortunately, there are many evidence based strategies that can help. Combining these techniques with a practice of self-empowerment enhances the potential for significant growth and healing. One of the best things we can do for ourselves is to learn to recognize, embrace, and lean on our own inner strengths. My counseling practice is designed to help you find your inner champion while providing you with some teachable tools to help overcome current and future obstacles.
I believe that therapy should be approachable, relatable and comfortable with a little splash of humor here and there as appropriate. I strive to embrace all of these qualities in my personal and professional endeavors. I’m also pretty creative. And I’m a cat mom.
