Hi, I’m Brianna Little Wells, MSW, LCSW.
I’m a mental health therapist who helps children and adults alike with improving their mental health symptoms, communication skills, and decision making. Just scheduling your first session is a big step to be proud of and I hope that my patient and accepting approach to sessions will be the right fit to get you where you need to be!
Give yourself some grace. We all tend to be our own biggest critics sometimes, but we are only human. Everyone makes mistakes, has setbacks, and lives their lives imperfectly—and that is okay. Therapy can help teach you how to give yourself the grace you deserve, learn better skills, and make healthy decisions moving forward.
Brianna, known by most as Bri or Ms. Bri, is often described as genuine, optimistic, gentle, and bubbly by her loved ones and clients alike. Bri likes to spend her free time with the wind in her hair and her son on her lap, cruising down the Cape Fear River in Castle Hayne. Growing up in Carolina Beach and moving to Castle Hayne after marriage, Bri has always enjoyed the sunshine and great outdoors. Other loves of hers include her 2 Catahoula Leopard Dogs, event planning, and listening to funny podcasts every time she gets in her car!
Bri has known since a young age that she wanted to be a therapist—becoming a peer mediator at Murray Middle School and taking psychology classes at UNCW while still in high school! Her love for mental health did not waiver and she is happy to serve her hometown and local community today.
Brianna Little Wells, MSW, LCSW is a therapist at Stillpoint Counseling & Wellness at their Wilmington, NC location. She also provides therapy virtually in North Carolina. Bri received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Bri interned for 2 years at the Rape Crisis Center, helping with individual and group therapy for adults. After graduation, she started working with children in an intensive therapy setting with frequent crisis intervention, before moving to school-based therapy. Bri enjoys the wide range of ages that she gets to see since coming to a group practice setting in May of 2023. She might be working with a child on managing anxiety and other big feelings during one session, and helping an adult learn to communicate better with their partner during another! Bri has experience working with people of all ages on anxiety, depression, self harm, anger, relationships, communication, decision making skills, and more.
