Hi! I’m Caitlin.
I work with women and couples struggling with life transitions, relationship/family issues, anxiety, depression, and stress management. I’m a strong believer that we are who we are because of our relationships, environment and experiences. I use evidenced-based therapeutic models (paired with humor and creativity) when supporting clients to make connections and gain insight into themselves to overcome challenges.
The clients I work with often start in a place where they feel stuck, misunderstood, or alone in solving their problems (when life is just lifing). I help them break things down into small, manageable, meaningful steps that ultimately empowers them to change through self-knowing, self-love and intentional action.
I work towards understanding *you* and *your* experiences so that I can support you with a genuine approach, rather than a one-size-fits-all therapy model. I know that therapy requires bravery and vulnerability, so I am intentional about creating a space where you feel heard, validated and worthy. I believe you already have the strengths within you to overcome your struggles. I am hopeful that you can create a healthy and fulfilling life and am thankful to be a part of your journey!
Outside of being a therapist (because we are humans too) I make art, practice yoga, go out into nature, read, garden, laugh, scroll TikTok and then feel hypocritical and put my phone down and then pick back up and repeat, chat with friends near and far (I’m now in Raleigh but lived in Wilmington for 14 years), read (I facilitate Stillpoint’s Book Club), volunteer in my community, pick up trash in the woods, dance, spend time with friends and family.
