Hi, I’m Kim Fournier-Jacques, a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and MSW Intern.
Whether you’re navigating challenges with body image, food, anxiety, stress, grief, or trauma, I offer a compassionate and holistic approach to healing. My work is rooted in mindfulness to help you cultivate a healthier relationship with your feelings, and create lasting change.
Healing is a journey, and you don’t have to do it alone. It happens best in a safe, compassionate, and mindful space where emotions can be explored without judgment.
I love taking the time to fully understand a client’s goals. It's through having a sense of clarity and holding a shared vision that allows growth to happen.
Each person’s journey is unique, and therapy should honor that individuality with a personalized, client-centered approach. Through mindfulness, and nervous-system regulation, deeper layers of healing become accessible, allowing unresolved trauma to surface and be processed in a way that promotes resilience, growth, freedom and lasting change.
I love delicious food and many of my favorite activities revolve around the enjoyment of great tasting food. Restaurants, travel, meals with friends and family…They are the juice of life for me.
I’m an abundant minimalist and prioritize experiences over things. In fact, in 2020 I downsized my belongings so they could fit into 6 rubbermaid bins!
Way back in 1991 I was blessed to experience a life threatening brain injury that left me unable to speak or move the right hand side of my body. It was because of this experience and the process of recovery that I’ve had a life long fascination with the human potential to heal. After a 25 year career working in bodywork and coaching, shifting into counseling became the next logical step and I love it!
