Hi, I’m Spencer, a licensed clinical social worker associate with a love for helping people overcome anxiety and become more confident in themselves. Navigating the complexities of relationships is one of my clinical passions. I’m dedicated to helping individuals, particularly women, improve relationships with others as well as their relationship with body-image, food, and exercise.
In my therapy sessions, I take a laid-back approach with heart. I firmly believe that therapy doesn’t have to be all serious all the time. I strive to create a relaxed, comfortable environment where you can truly be yourself. We’ll share laughter, maybe even a few memes, and, most importantly, we’ll work together to make meaningful changes that stick.
Therapy is both an art and a science, which is what made me fall in love with this work. I use evidence-based interventions to help clients achieve the best results, while also honoring the relationship between client and therapist-which is one like no other. I strive to make my clients feel comfortable in session and know that we can tackle any problem that arises together. Although I take a casual approach relating with my clients, you'll get more than “mhmms” and head nods from me. I see it as my responsibility as your therapist to call attention to and challenge patterns that no longer benefit you!
I am a neurospicy, nerdy, vanilla-latte loving, cat-lady. I love to play tennis and pickleball and talk with clients about therapy-related TikToks we come across! One of my favorite aspects of this work is connecting with clients and helping people experience a truly safe space!
Fun Fact: I am scuba certified!
