Heather Till, E-RYT 500,C-IAYT, is a Certified Integrative Yoga Therapist and Gentle Somatic Yoga Practitioner (Levels 1 and 2). Her love of movement and wellness have also led her to become a certified Bellicon (mini-trampoline) Health Education Trainer and TTW Embodied Play Facilitator. As a long time mover and dancer, Heather has been studying the movement and healing arts for over 25 years. Her teaching is rooted in mindfulness and gentle yoga practices that encourage moving from an inner awareness to unravel chronic tension and pain patterns and reconnect with our body’s natural rhythms and ability for health and resilience. Her greatest joy is helping others to discover what’s possible within their own Soma (body/mind).

Heather’s playful personality infuses her teaching through heart-based, slow yoga practices and movement explorations that draw upon her studies in restorative yoga, yoga + neuroscience, breath work, meditation, self regulation and resiliency. Her intention is to create an experience for her students that leaves the nervous system feeling calm and nourished, and awakens new possibilities within each of us to experience deeper peace and well being.

In her spare time, you’ll usually find Heather elbow deep in the kitchen sharing her love of cooking, going for long walks in the woods, nose deep in a good book or having deep conversations with her plant babies.

Yoga Therapy is an accredited, integrative field. Certified Yoga Therapists receive 1,000+ hours of specialized training, and are recognized by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT).
