Hello, I’m Melissa!
I believe that therapy is a place to explore who we are and how we want to move forward with our lives. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you are welcome and accepted. My approach is creative and collaborative. It is my hope that we can work together to shift your mindset and behaviors in a way that helps you to make progress towards your goals.
I have experience with adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety disorders, behavioral concerns, stress management, and self-esteem and identity issues. I use various therapeutic techniques (Person-Centered, Strengths Based, CBT, MI, etc.) that focus on your natural strengths and needs. I am also a MATCH-ADTC (Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct Problems) certified therapist. MATCH-ADTC is a bold redesign of evidence-based treatment of childhood anxiety, depression, trauma, and conduct problems. It has been extensively tested in community mental health settings.
