Yoga can help children can help at an early age teach the value of body/thought awareness, self-regulation of emotions, connection to a larger whole, and kindness for themselves and others. Yoga for children is fun! While it allows for calming postures and focus, yoga for kids also offers a space for self-expression and creativity.
Our classes are differentiated by developmental level including yoga for kids (ages 6-10), yoga for Tweens (ages 9 – 12), and yoga for teens (ages 13-15 or 16 – 18). Often times older teens (16+) will feel more comfortable in an adult class, and this can be discussed with the instructor.
